Danell Lynn is an author and an educator. This book is a culmination of her passions -travel & learning.
She holds a Master’s in Education and has spent over 9 years in the classroom as a teacher, 2 years as a Special Education Director and 2 years working with the State Department of Education monitoring programs and data collection for submission to OSEP. How does the classroom get selected? It is a joint effort through a classroom essay, written by the students and the teacher, explaining the interest in the book and the classroom set, why it would be meaningful and how it would impact your students.
Essays are judged by a panel of educators: certified Elementary teacher, Special Educator - Cross Cat. teacher, Educational Leadership Principal, and State Agency Department of Education-Program Support specialist. **to be noted: before awarded / visited an official letter from the school principle must be sent in so that we know the book will be used as part of the school curriculum, and is approved by the board for use as a book within your classroom (if your district has board approval reading policies) |
