Guided by years of education experience and world travel, co-authors Danell Lynn, M.Ed. and James Green, M.Ed have put together a collection of adventure through education experiential style curriculum for today's multicultural classrooms.
During Danell Lynn's solo Guinness World Record motorcycle ride that toured all 50 states and Canada, she visited and talked to classrooms around the nation while donating class set of her books, Purposeful Wandering. It was during the creation of that book and subsequent visits to schools that were following her year long journey that she began creating the idea for the below curriculum guides. So pick up a book, grab a classroom map, and journey with Danell as she travels the world. All lesson are from actual places she has visited and stories that accompany them are created from the adventures she has taken. So hop the global train and lets expand student minds together. This curriculum is intended to bring social studies and language arts to live! To make it easier for the teacher to integrate social studies and language arts lesson while keeping students engaged, excited, and eager to learn about the world around them. Teachers inspire young learners everyday, it is our hope this integrated curriculum will expand that inspiration while cultivating global citizens. |
Mr. Green has over 10 years classroom experience and holds a Masters in Educational Leadership and Human Resource Training.
